Birthday Kitty
How about something non-Christmas today? A sweet card that is pink and has a cat on it? Yep, here you go! I took my inspiration from a card in the annual catalogue, which is a great place to look for ideas, and I often browse through them just like you would a magazine!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 25!!!
Yay! We made it through to day 25 of the Christmas Tag Challenge! I have a card and tag to share with you today. These were based on a card I saw online made by Christy Fulk - I used the same stamp set, but changed the base card, embossing folder, some of the ink colours and ribbon to make it my own!
I don't think you can see the gold brushed detail on the embossed card very well in these photos, but it really does look lovely! If you want to do this, my advice is definitely less is more - pour a small amount of the shimmer paint on to a stamp block and pick up an even smaller amount onto a stiff brush. Swoosh it over a piece of scrap paper a couple of times so that you get a dry brush effect when you brush over the Merry Merlot embossed card. It is really quick to dry as you have such a small amount of paint on the card, and if you are batch card making like I was then it will be dry before you need it!Materials Used:

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 24
Day 24, and two tags today, with just a difference in the layers for the sentiment topper. I couldn't decide which way round I liked them best, so I made both!
